What it is

One line out. Everyone follows.

The reciprocating design means the system automatically resets as each person reaches the ground — so a whole floor can evacuate on a single device, without power, without waiting for the stairwell.

Why it works

Built for the worst moment.

Every part of the ESCAPE Descender is designed around one goal — getting people to the ground safely when every second counts.

Safe & Reliable

Engineered controlled descent you can trust in an emergency.

Easy to Use

Minimal steps — anyone can deploy it under pressure.

Fast Descent

Rapid, governed descent of 0.8–1.3 m/s to the ground.

Multi-User Reciprocating

As one person descends, the system resets for the next.

High Strength & Durable

Aviation-grade steel rope and aluminium-alloy build.

CE Compliant

Meets CE safety standards for escape equipment.

Inside the kit

Eight parts, one system.

Everything ships in a single hard case — from the anchor bolt to the harness buckle.

1

Anchor Bolt

Fixes the mounting bracket into structural concrete.

Installation & use

Fitted once, ready always.

A one-time install at two windows. Read it through before you begin, and make sure everyone at home has practised with the harness.

  4. 4

Two holesMarked and drilled — 14 mm diameter, 11 cm deep.

1

Choose two positions

Find a good position at two windows facing different directions. Install the fixing ring at each one, then hang the descent control device into the fixing ring.

2

Fit and test the harness

Pull down the safety belt and loosen the safety buckle upward. Put the belt under the armpits and lock the buckle. Pull it firmly several times to check it holds — and teach every member of the family to do the same.

3

Pack it away

Remove the descent control device, wrap the steel wire around the safety belt and put it back into the toolbox.

4

Store it in plain sight

Put the toolbox in the most conspicuous place you have, so it can be found immediately when it is needed.

  • The retaining ring is installed on the bearing.
  • Mark and drill the two holes before fitting anything.
  • Thread the two screws through the retaining ring and tighten them against the wall.
  • Hook the descent control device in at the ring once the bracket is secure.

In an emergency

In case of emergency, untie the steel wire coil and throw it to the ground — and pay attention to the safety of anyone standing below.

Step by step

Ground level in six steps.

No training, no power, no panic. Simple enough to follow when it matters most.

1

Unpack

Open the package and take out the product.

2

Mount

Secure the mounting bracket to a strong anchor point.

3

Deploy Rope

Throw the reel to the ground outside the building.

4

Harness Up

Fasten the seat belt around your waist and tighten it.

5

Descend

Grip the seat belt with both hands, face the wall and descend slowly.

6

Next User

After landing, untie the belt — the next person escapes the same way.
